The world is dead.
In 2145 the planet known as Earth was disintegrated by an asteroid which astronomers had reportedly known about for months. Due to an increase in Space Exploration, Colonies had already formed on other planets with the most popular being Vega, but most of the human population still resided on Earth and was wiped out the second the asteroid hit.
Cutting a long story short, settlements on the new home planet Vega lasted seventy years until a fresher band of planets called to offer a better home. Many were forced to stay on Vega after either not fitting criteria or due to their jobs - some stayed of their own free will. Vega lay forgotten, with no communication.
Until one little spark was sent out into space, crossing the galaxies and constellations directly to Vega’s comms room; a signal of distress, a call for help on behalf of the rest of humanity…
“Vega… Vega, receive us… this is an emergency….”
Calling Vega is a new community, fresh and ready for new players and characters to join before its official opening.

A Post-Eclipse RPG

This is a canon Twilight game taking place after Eclipse.
I’D HAD MORE THAN MY FAIR SHARE OF NEAR-DEATH
experiences, it wasn’t something you ever really got used to.
It seemed oddly inevitable, though, facing death again,
Like I really was marked for disaster. I’d escaped time and
time again, but it kept coming back for me.
Still this time was so different from the others.
You could run from someone you feared, you could try
to fight someone you hated. All my reactions were geared
toward those kinds of killers – the monsters, the enemies.
When you love the one who was killing you, it left
you no options. How could you run, how could you fight,
when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life
was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not
give it?
If it was someone you truly loved?

So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'.
It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time.
Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin...
Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team!

Spectrum Divided is a Marauders Era Harry Potter based roleplaying game. But it's a little different from most Marauders Era games. It starts out with the characters as they were in the school year of 1975-1976, the Marauders' fifth year in Hogwarts. But from there on up, the players build history as it happens. Your character can develop how they please, whether it's the same as the books or different - it's all up to you.
The game consists of the usual communities, including a main gaming community for everyone, but with a bit of a twist - there is one community for Death Eaters and supporters, and one community for the Order of the Phoenix and supporters. These communities are friends-locked to only people in those communities, so you can hatch secret plots and plan raids on the other side. This game plays like a war...but with less killing.
And the premise?
A relic of ancient evil has been stolen by Voldemort, and the only thing stopping him from using it is a series of protective boxes - and the keys that will open them, scattered across England, hidden in safety by a group of powerful ancient Witches and Wizards. The race is on to find these keys, keys which are said to affect the minds of those who hold them. Voldemort wishes to use them to gain immortality and expand his power over the Wizarding world, and the world in general. Albus Dumbledore wishes only to keep this artifact out of the hands of the one person evil enough to want to use it.
The race is on, and the terrain of the war may just have a whole new face.
Help us build it. From here on up.
Spectrum Divided is currently seeking several of the major canon characters, including Sirius, James, Lily, Snape, Lucius Malfoy, Rita Skeeter, Barty Crouch and many others. We're especially seeking Order of the Phoenix members. Adult characters who are out of school are welcome, and we have ample plot for characters both in and out of school.

We all know the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen of the Twilight series. We know the struggles they encountered, the obstacles they overcame, the love they felt for each other which was stronger and more important than anything else. We felt as if we were a part of their journey from Twilight to Eclipse and beyond.
But what if the roles were reversed?
What is Bella was the vampire and Edward was the human?
Perfect Paradigm RPG is an AU Twilight game where Bella Cullen is a vegetarian vampire living in the Cullen coven in Forks, Washington and Edward Masen is a human, just moving to town because of his father’s job transfer. Edward’s blood calls out to Bella and she finds herself falling for much more than his scent.
Join us on a journey is seeing what would happen if the story of Twilight was reversed, was a paradigm of what it is now. Will love conquer all?
Our game starts at the beginning of Twilight with Edward Masen moving to the small town of Forks, Washington with his mother and father. Bella and the Cullens are students at Forks High and just like in the novel, when Bella first encounters Edward, his blood sings to her, calls to her. The storyline will remain relatively the same, same general events (i.e. the crash in the parking lot, Port Angeles, baseball) playing out with reversed roles with the players deciding what actually happens in each of them.
GAME DUE TO BEGIN JULY 1ST.
