Are you growing tired of all those Post War games that seem to be popping up left and right now that the seventh book has been released? This game will take you back - back to when there were games where plot was the centric focus and things weren't always happy. Instead, they were serious, dark, and unknown. At Snitched, Voldemort was never defeated that night when Hogwarts went under siege. In fact, that night has yet to occur because the Death Eaters arrived at Bill and Fleur's wedding and captured many key Order members and guests in attendance. Some died, but most were imprisoned or fled somewhere safe. Since that fateful night, Voldemort has gained innumerable strength to the point where he is unstoppable. He owns the Ministry and the Wizarding World. Secretly, he owns the Muggle world and part of Europe where the Death Eaters flourish.
Now that his reign is no longer contested, he has set about putting his plans into order. Muggleborns, Halfbloods, and those that are traitors to the cause are imprisoned. Some might be allowed out as slaves, providing of course that there are Death Eaters and purebloods who want them. Those that have yet to be caught are forced to flee and hide. Those that are still pureblooded are allowed to live neutrally amongst society. They are not forced to take the mark, but they are required to obey the new law - Voldemort's Law. Their loyalty must be unwavering - if they support another cause, then they must be absolutely mum about it. But word to the wise: Don't say Voldemort's name; the word itself will surely lead to the capture of those responsible no matter what their status in society.
This game is not for the faint at heart. There will be dark themes and happiness will only be found in hidden corners or alleyways. There are those who will fight, who want Voldemort's reign to end, but doing so will take time, tears, blood, and sacrifice.
Wanted Characters: Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, Lucius Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, Rodolphus Lestrange, Amycus Carrow, Remus Lupin. Most characters are still open at this time.

Wanted Characters
Starting APRIL 18th!
Yes, it is yet another Marauder Era game, fixated on sixth year. The First war has started, and according to The Head Master of Hogwarts, school life will not be interrupted. However, the factions are forming, friends and families are divided by both death and by their own personal choices.
PLAYERS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN ONE OF THE GAMES, OR BOTH. IT IS COMPLETELY YOUR CHOICE.
This is a unique new RPG that will attempt to bridge the gap between the canon, slash, and crack Harry Potter role playing worlds. Elysium and Elysium Fields are respectively are the canon world and the "dream"world. The canon game attempts to follow the lives of the Marauders and the Hogwarts students of their era. The "dream world" is where the djinn sweep their victims off to, and there, Most ANYTHING can happen.
Elysium is where Voldemort's strength is gathering, and he and his followers are preparing their sack on London. At Hogwarts, life goes on as usual,and no one is aware of the djinn's presence. There are vague memories of strange dreams, but most of the possessed are too confused by the"dreams" and have little more than vague (fuzzy) memories about what happened in their nightly visions. Eventually, the possess will gather and speak of their so called "memories", and Dumbledore will be involved.
Elysium Fields is our "dream world." Here, as we stated earlier, Most anything can happen. We ask that this site stays friends locked, and even then, warnings and cuts must be placed on the posts. We also ask that the players stay away from illegal activities, and act in an appropriate manner.
The moderators of this journal hold no liability for the posts contained with in and will do their best to effectively and consciously monitor the contents. Any and all liability for content contained in the posts falls to the players involved alone.

Monitor Duty: that assignment everyone loves to hate.
All JLA members know that eventually they're going to be assigned a night up in space. It can be pretty boring, but generally they're prepared for that. Some are fine with the silence, content to meditate while staring out at the multitude of stars. Some bring office work, those young enough (or just ambitious enough) bring graduate work. Some even bring their children and wives. Everyone has something that helps them get through the long fifteen hour shifts in space.
Of course, let's not forget the most important variable of monitor duty. Who you're paired with can honestly make or break the occasion. Some would argue that spending fifteen hours alone with Batman isn't worth the three years of therapy one needs in result. On the other hand, it's those odd pairings during monitor duty that can sometimes breed the thickest of friendships. It's always fun when new duty lists are posted each month and exchanging grins or groans depending on who you've been paired with.
Some are happy with the boredom and monotony of the fifteen hour shifts, while others secretly wish that something exciting would happen. It's a mixed bag and you never know what's going to happen.
monitorduty is a social, character development game based around the relationships, both good and bad, that develop within the JLA.
