CONTACT LIST FRIEND ALL Notardus is an AU seventh year game, loosely based around the events that took place in book seven. Everyone is welcome to join, but must be open to dark plotting and dangerous events. The game will be begin September first, in game, and will played throughout the year. The focus of the game is not on the trio itself, which are nonplayable characters, but the lives of everyone else. Students will find themselves in a setting that will be frightening, emotionally painful, and hazardous to their health at times as the Death Eaters slowly take over the school. Adult characters will be suffering similar fates as laws become more restricting. The balance of order is shifting, will your character be able to survive the change? I kinda want to slay the dragon. Let's go to work." And get to work the remaining members of Angel Investigations did. Four heroes against a city run rampant with monsters of all shapes and sizes. When it was all said and done, the dragon was slayed. The others followed suit or fled for their lives. Gunn perished but Angel, Spike, and Illyria survived. The Senior Partners fell silent and the battle for control of Los Angeles was declared over at long last. The city has begun to rebuild and people have returned to their daily lives since then. Yet, already plans are in motion to destroy the peace that has befallen the City of Angels. The Senior Partners are back, with a vengeance, and a plan they are certain will succeed. The Powers That Be have decided the time has come to mount a viable defense. Heroes and villains alike are arriving day and night. Some come with an understanding of what is to be expected. Some do not. And some are neither hero nor villain, but simply innocent pawns in a game where the rules are deadly and the winner, truly, can take it all. Now, only one question remains: On which side of the battle lines do you fall? Although parabolical is a multi-fandom RPG set in the Angel-verse. Ever at the Ready [06 May 2008|10:56am] - Mod Journal - RP Comm - OOC Comm - Graphics - - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! [06 May 2008|04:22pm] Peace? In our labyrinthine wizarding world? Well, honestly, I didn't think it was possible. It seemed rather preposterous, even after his sensational defeat. Oh, I can barely remember what it felt like when we received the news. We heard it on our wireless right before we sat down for supper. He was gone, his enthusiasts were gone, but tragically: so were a lot of the people we knew. ( ... ) It is the year 2022. Another generation is at Hogwarts, and their time there has been considerably less dramatic than Harry's. [06 May 2008|09:15pm] | PREMISE | APPLICATION | RULES | TAKEN CHARACTERS/PBs | FAQ | MOD JOURNAL | MAIN COMM | OOC COMM | At the northern reaches of the New York metropolitan area, nestled in the state's scenic Orange County, Mercury Falls was founded 1685. Traditional, the residents pride themselves on the peaceful normality of the town. However, not everyone sees this as a good thing. Children, growing and graduating, move on to what they see as bigger and better things. With nothing to bring in new blood, Mercury Falls, having celebrated its tricentennial and then some, seemed to have been given a "use-by" date. Mercury Falls High, once the pride of the town, was now decidedly average. In sports, they were win some, lose some. In academics, they fell comfortably somewhere in the middle of the achievement continuum. At least, that had always been the status quo, until about a year ago. The election of the new mayor brought about change. In the high school, grades started rising steadily, new classes were introduced and the Panthers had never had a better season. Grant money is rolling in and with it, new families and life. The town is once again flourishing, but for a troubling trend among certain students. As much as the town would like to deny and ignore it, at a disturbing rate, students are disappearing - going missing, committing suicide, running away. What is going on in Mercury Falls?
