What happens when reconstruction goes horribly wrong?

Well, in the year 2006, a new minister of magic was voted into office: a woman named Anita Stone (NPC). Smart, attractive, and beloved by her supporters, no one really noticed when she started to let laws slowly go into play. After all, a decade had passed since any real evil had been around the wizarding world. What were a few little laws about members of the opposite sex living together before marriage really going to do? The world Harry and his friends live in is changing: new laws and political powers are taking away the rights of 'unideal' citizens in the name of making a safe world for the next generations- a resistance is rising, but the powers against it are strong. People like Terry Boot have already had jail time for opposing the new system. When a bright future is close for the majority of the world...is a few people getting the short end of the stick really that bad? Some support the laws- some don't.
