OK. I'm probably going to explain this in a ass-backwards and confusing way. BUT, what I do is make the post with the table of links. That post gets "backdated" to a future date. Then you go to the customize journal option, and click the tab custom options. The slot that says "Number of journal entries to show on recent entries page" would be put as 1.
I have no idea if that makes sense (except in my head), but that's basically how I do it.
