Photo Manipulation!
Hello, I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask but for faux-celeb communities, photos are a plus and I'm kind of getting the gist of manipulation but I was wondering if I could get some specific guidelines on how to put two different people into one photo, so it seems like they were actually together?

EDIT I use Photoshop CS3 Extended, btw!

That's photomanipulation, there's several tutorials you can find online. Let me dig through my bookmarks and I can find some but if you look up "background removal" with your type of program, you'll probably find some good videos.

i use the magnetic lasso/quick mask technique a lot. the really important thing is to make sure that the two pictures have similar lighting (i.e. don't try to combine a photo where one person is outside at night and the other is in the park at noon--when i do manips i try to make sure the lighting conditions are exactly the same) and are taken at similar angles, otherwise it looks weird.
