This might be an obvious answer, but I've recently started to use Scribbld and I have no clue where to go for backgrounds like this. I've sort of looked around, and have asked a few people I know with no luck finding a place for the kinds of background that match together when set side by side and my photoshop skills currently are limited. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Those are called "tiled backgrounds", and you can search for that term on Photobucket (here or here, for starters) or your basic search engine. Some popular sites:

• Naked And Angry (check all the boxes in the search engine to display all results)
• Squidfingers
• Kaliber1000

Since I always find that a lot of people on journal sites make/use these, I like to use LJ's search function to find the people who make these in their resource-type communities. The first result I got was the "texturized" community, who has a style: patterned tag for their textures/wallpapers.

I'm personally using some from appletooth right now which I find very light and pretty and simple.

Thank you! I've never really used LJ's search function before, other than looking up other people I know over there.

Lots of patterns in this here community post!

If you want a damask pattern in particular, there's a bunch here.
