I know this is a really ridiculous question, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make an asylum friends only all around. I want all posts to default to "friends only" regardless of what the user selects from the security list. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

	Not ridiculous at all, it's an admin console function! http://www.insanejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=32 It's described in the sections under the first and second star. You can set the community to be friends only from then on out, but if there are any old entries, you have to lock them all manually. Hope that helps! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I haven't been able to find one either! That might be a great topic for a tutorial, because other than adding/removing/banning and friends only-ing, I don't know anything else about it. But I hope you did figure this out, it took me a couple of tries when I found that FAQ so if you are stuck, just poke and I'll try to help. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	To make a community "friends only" regardless of what the user selects, you go to the admin console and put in the following code: set for communityname newpost_minsecurity friends (Reply to this) (Thread)
