How do you take an icon and make a link to another journal like for storylines

Right click the icon and Copy Image Location and then use what ~bilo said and paste that into "the icon url here"

it should look like <a href="http://rp_tutorials.insanejournal.com/"><img src="http://www.insanejournal.com/userpic/12975150/570641"></a>

Remember to upload the icon to tinypic or photobucket first if you're taking them from a icon maker's journal or something. You don't want to hotlink. Then do what the other comment said.
