The way I do it is, I upload the images I want to post to an image hosting site such as photobucket, imgur, or tinypic. You will probably need an account, but I know at least those ones are free. Upload the images you want to your account.
Now, the way I did it until I learned my html basics is by using an upload generator, such as this one by sql_girl. SUPER easy to use and has a link to the instructions, but I'll just run through them really fast anyway. If you have multiple images (which I'm assuming), you click the dropdown menu and select that. Put the direct link to the image (this one for imgur) and a semicolon at the end, no spaces. Do that for every image, but don't add the semicolon for the last image, it just creates a blank space.
Click Add and it should look like THIS. If you end up getting a blank icon space, it's cool. Just find it in the Add box, highlight the empty line, and delete it. You can customize the way you want the table to look, or leave the colors and such blank. Choose how many images you want per row and their position in the post, if you want it numbered, where you want them. All of them have dropdown menus for it. It should look like this when you're done.
After you've decided how you want it, hit preview. It will show you what it's going to look like, and in the textarea box below it, give you the html code, right here. Copy that, then post it in your journal and you're golden! The page with the generator has other tips and stuff, if I forgot anything. I hope this is what you meant, and that it helps!
