I have a question about chrome and insanejournal: my preview window always goes back to a journal that was been deleted ages ago and I'd like to remove that. And obviously, I have no idea how to. Anyone any ideas?

Are you using account juggler or another switcher with Chrome? If so, try logging completely out from the site (using the "log out?" button) and see what happens when you log in again.

There's some weirdness with login cookies and previewing/spelling checks that I don't entirely understand. I do know that I regularly see different journal names for previews and spelling checks when I use account juggler to switch.

lj juggler!

So I guess the question should be 'how do I delete log-in cookies?'

If logging completely out won't do it, try

1. Preferences (or whatever the Windows equivalent is--Opitions?) > Advanced > Content Settings
2. Click the All Cookies and Site Data button
3. In the Search Cookies search bar, type "insanejournal.com"
4. Select and remove those cookies
5. Close out all the dialogs and windows until you're back to the main screen

That should get rid of all the cookies. Don't be alarmed that there are a zillion cookies; IJ generates a cookie for every journal you visit. That's normal.

Hope this helps!
