Stupid question?
I feel so old in RP sometimes. I've been seeing the term "custom" thrown around, and I know what that is in an ooc sense - a post that only two people can see for plotting. What on earth is it in an IC fashion? Like an IC post just for 2?

Hopefully this is a question that is allowed!

	The term "custom" comes from those Custom Groups you can make to filter who sees the post. Customs can involve two or more people in my experience and can be used any way you like (whether it's to plot in an OOC fashion or just to RP IC, just as an example). (Reply to this)

I feel old pretty much every day that I continue to rp anymore. Because back when I started I took more than 48 hours to write up an application (I still do, actually), I didn't create a journal until the application was accepted because journal hogging was considered rude, I didn't steal icons (I either made my own or put credit somewhere), people weren't ragging non-stop all passive aggressively in vent communities about their RP partners having priorities outside of rp (some of us are mid 30s and older and have jobs, spouses, kids and stuff... good lord)... and the flaking.

And the drama.

I sort of miss early 2000s rp sometimes. At the same time, I have a happy niche of people the have been playing just as long and we have our happy little hidey-hole of rp. Things are just... weird out there.

Don't feel bad, I can't keep up with the slang either.
