frustrated to beat hell...
So, I've always used scribbld for my layouts and since it's gone to shit I'm stumped as to what to use for my bios. I know everyone and their momma are at webs, but for the life of me I can't even open the damn site. I even went so far as to buy a new laptop to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, but it NEVER FUCKING OPENS!!! So, HALP! I don't know what else to do...

don't worry about it. it's a great alternative, so far there's nothing that i've coded and it won't accept, so two thumbs up for tumblr. someone put up a tutorial about it. you can comment them if you've got further questions. or myself. i don't mind helping. hope it works out for you!

Seriously, I take a break from rping and come back to all my bios gone and I got them to work long enough to save them, and then BAM gone forever! Why can't people just leave stuff alone?! lol

I know! If we're moving servers then why do maintenance on the old site...idek...Especially after the admin said the site was going to be up for at least a year...I have faith it's all still there, but it's really annoying.

I actually just emailed him because we've had correspondence before, so I'll keep you updated I guess??

And why can't the new site do html like the old one?!

Cool, definitely!

There is a way to retrieve your old stuff and put it on the new scribble. I can link it when I get on the computer.

The instructions are at scribbld.com

Essentially you sign up for another journal there

You can find your old journal at http://scribbld.us/ and you can import it to the new site.

I admit I'm just testing it out now because I never really use Scribbld...

It seems to be working! Essentially they've done it with Dreamwidth code and not the old LJ code as the DW one is continually being updated.

I have no idea. I hosted one or two things there but I'm not worried about them, I usually use IJ as I have a perm account or my own domain...
