I enjoy it partly because she treats the Christian pantheon as mythology to play with, much like people do now with Greek gods, etc. It focuses more on heaven vs. hell, if that's any help. But yeah, a lot of people aren't really cool with it. But the art is gorgeous. It is odd, because a lot of the stuff I'll read in Kaori Yuki's work I'm not into and it wouldn't be a draw in other works. So it is sort of the "fucked up, but too good to put down" category for me.
Depends on the newer stuff for me. I loved Tangled, have no interest in Cars/Planes. The new one, the ice one, is kind of ruined for me because of something I read comparing the original fable, which actually has some strong female characters that seem to mostly be cut. I'm kind of behind on movies and shows in general, though. I just got around to watching the new Star Trek, for example. I think Tangled is probably the most recent animated one I've seen.
