Ah, I'm not into incest, but I can tolerate cannibalism. Anything religious, particularly Christinaity, makes me nope. I'm not religious, but some things just rub me the wrong way, and I can enjoy a fandom more if there's no symbolism for Jesus and so forth!
I haven't seen The Cat in a while, and while it is tamer than Spirited Away and Howl, it's not for young kids. It's not cheesy cutesy ridiculous kid stuff. I just take it for what it is; girl + anthro cats' world + insanity. The main characters are compelling, in the sense that you're not bored to tears because one or more main characters are annoying as fuck or whathaveyou. I'm guilty of watching a lot of animated films, too =D I draw the line at the newer crap, like Disney's Planes. Animals, yes, with a serious plot, ala Don Bluth's era, and the older Disney's. Talking trucks? WTF. No.</del>
