You mean, it's already become that conversation. Fuck me dead, it's like pulling teeth to persuade someone off-forum to even look at it, let alone read (for example) Jcink's user-guide. Registering at Jcink is less tedious/time-consuming than it is to register an account on IJ, for fuck's sake.
IJ's my comfort zone because of the TOS, but if I was to sort to regularly spend money on server space, e.g to allow higher-rated content, I'd pay for my Jcink board(s), but for various reasons I won't. Forum organizations and whatnot make me very happy with layouts and the rest.
I've written a documentation for forum RPers, of how to use/navigate IJ. I was thinking of doing the same, but in reverse, for IJ rpers. Linking the Jcink guide and offering to help individual players just isn't working. You can find a lot of interested players on IJ, but they just won't budge.
