It really depends on your computer. If you have a PC, most of them have a button. You press the button and it automatically snaps a picture which you then paste into a photo editing program--or into Paint.
With a Mac, you can press specific combinations to get exactly what amount you want to have and it saves it as a picture automatically.
If you google screen captures online, it'll tell you exactly how to do it.
