Screencap Community?
Is there a community or journal that posts screencap resources? I have a lot of time on my hands and I recently screencapped Les Mis, but I don't actually make icons or graphics of any sort. I was only doing it to be helpful in requesting icons. Since I do have the time, I was wondering if there was already a place where I could screencap things people might want or if there were people willing/interested in iconing the movies/tv shows I cap?

Would something like Weebly work? I think they're free as far as the website goes. I'm awful at coding/css/html/design anything lol but I am good when there's a fool proof form for me haha.

Weebly (like Webs) probably has a limit to how much you can upload on a free account, and one gallery of good screencaps (on my comp) takes up... about as much space as a standard movie file does, haha. Multiply that by a decent sized collection of movies capped and it adds up so, so fast (which explains why a lot of galleries go offline.)

Designing the website definitely isn't a problem (I do it freelance for a living), and there are free programs you can install on a site to use that make uploading cap galleries very simple, but finding people who want to provide caps badly enough to help me host a site is another story, lol.

LOL I journal hop all the time, don't even worry. I usually add a very unhelpful /wrong account at the end of it.

I'm a recent grad bored out of her mind job hunting and looking for semi-productive things to do. I capped Les Mis and accidentally pulled 260k+ caps (whoops), which I sorted, compressed, and uploaded to MediaFire. I don't mind doing the work and I like helping people/being useful. If it's something you might be interested in, I'd absolutely be game.

I'd gladly join in on the capping. At the moment I can't afford to put any cost to webhosting though but I've been wanting to work on a capping site for awhile but doing it by myself would just not work at all lol. There are some of the free fansite hosting places that might accept it though, some starting you off with unlimited space/bandwidth which is great.
