Journal Deletions.
Hey Guys! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about journals being deleted on Insanejournal. I know we're all expecting this, but in the beginning we were told that a SPAM account are easy to spot and that journals we haven't used in a while would be safe from deletion. Unfortunately, most of my journals are being deleted, even ones used recently in my various role play games.

If there are old journals under your email that you don't use, but have things in them that you'd like to keep I would go and check them to make sure they haven't been deleted. Having to rewrite an application or a fic is a pain in the arse.

Is there anything to do to prevent this from happening to an account, short of spending a miniature fortune buying paid time for all of them? Can you undo the deletion if you catch in time, the same as if you had deleted the account yourself?

Just asking in case anyone knows, because my accounts can go for very long times without being logged into, but that doesn't mean I never plan to use them again. It just means they're currently on hiatus or whatever. =/

	Yeah. You have fourteen days after the deletion to switch it back to active. Just as you would if you deleted it yourself. I had to go through and do that to all of mine. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I just logged into one of my recently used journals to find out it had been deleted, so I started to check my other ones. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Thanks for the heads up! Our game moved to Dreamwidth around the 18th of December due to all the issues here. I can see things are just getting worse. :( Tutis Tempus (Reply to this)
