You want to know what's beautiful? Tumblr is beautiful.

Why is Tumblr beautiful? Because not only is an AMAZING AWESOME BLOG PLATFORM... You can use javascript on your custom pages.

Yes, my friends, javascript is allowed.

You can also have as many custom pages as you like and they can all have a different layout and code and OMG IT IS SO AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND EVERYTHING WE HAVE EVER WANTED FOR MOD JOURNALS.

So... how do I you get to place where you can use this fabulousness?

Create an account. Go to the "Customize Blog" page. Scroll down on the left-hand side until you get to "Pages" section. Add a new page. A dialog should pop-up. Now here's the part I only just learned of: there is a drop down box toward the top that says "Standard Layout" drop it down and select "Custom Layout" and you get to add a complete custom HTML page from scratch on which you can use CSS and Javascript.

If you don't understand how beautiful this truly is? Feel sorry for us that do because we have been wringing our hands about this for at least a decade, okay.

The other thing is that there are a lot of theme makers on Tumblr who also provide custom page layout code and things of beauty are commonplace. It's just...somebody HOLD ME.

Bless you for this. I've always wanted to do a pretty "movies I've seen" pages like everyone else on there but I never realized this is how you did it.
