legally dubious post, resources: general

hello! i'm working on a resource post in my journal that i hope, with time, will be of use to others as well as myself.

i was wondering if there were any websites, types of websites, or information that players would find useful to have consolidated in one place? even if it's something as general as "man, i'd love to see a whole bunch of different ways to make icons" or something, because i can do the looking for websites myself, i'd just love to know what other people are interested in seeing!

	honestly, i'd love to see different ways to make icons and actions. i was looking for something like that and besides the one action posted here, that i already use, it seems like no one else has ever compiled a list quite like that. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	what sort of icon types are you looking for? like how to improve, say, low-quality images for icons? how to make icons following any particular trends? i'll start compiling lists of stuff now but if you had anything more specific you wanted to see, i want to make sure i include it :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	different icon trends! i mean there are like five or six different kinds of icon styles in any comm you look at. i can't tell you how many times i wanted to comment a person and ask "how do you get your icons like that!!" but then i've chickened out. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	if you use photoshop have you ever thought about making an action? it would be easier than a tutorial. i mean i'd love to know, regardless, but it would save you from having to explain (Reply to this) (Parent)
