Has anyone used JournalWatcher to upload batched icons recently? I've used it consistently before, most recently maybe a month or month and a half ago? I noticed a note that it no longer uploads immediately, and wasn't sure when that started, but I think fairly recently. I uploaded two batches, it sent me email saying both had uploaded after several minutes, yet nothing has appeared yet so I'm not sure what's happening.

Has anyone else noticed any changes with it? With a Mac, it's really the only halfway decent way to upload icons.

	I've been having issues with it too. It randomly uploads my icons. I did Sofiya and another journal recently.. It wouldn't upload the ones for Sofiya's journal (after 4 tries) but instantly uploaded the other journals. :( I keep looking for alternatives for a MAC and cant find any. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Let's try this again from my own journal, not Scor's...

I've had it randomly decide to upload partial files before. That one's been going on for a while, and I think I had that problem and had to delete partials and reupload for Scorpius a few times when I created him. But Adrian... I'm just going to keep trying, I guess, and hope his icons get up there eventually! I'm glad to know it isn't just me, but at the same time... *sighs*

If I find an alternative, I'll definitely let you know. JW has been the best I've found since I started with a Mac three years ago. :/

	I did some hunting and found this tutorial on this comm actually (I didn't find it originally, and had to Google for it) which has a tool that does work for the Mac. It doesn't upload keywords, but at least the icons are uploaded! (Reply to this) (Parent)

I've had problems with it uploading partial files, but this was the first time it just didn't upload a file at all... I guess I'll just keep trying and hope that eventually it'll go through!! I'm assuming it has something to do with response time from IJ... or... oh I wonder if it's now being seen as a DoS attack and might be denied in general, after the latest round of fixes... Huh. If I can't get it to go through at all, I'll try to stop by and ask Squeaky to check on it, he might be able to whitelist it if it's getting caught in a filter.

	I think there is something up with the site. I used it about a week ago, all was fine, but then the couple of days, nothing seems to work, not even the archiving or deleting section. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	My guess is that it has something to do with the latest round of fixes or account purges that went in place recently. I gave up on uploading via JW. But I will really miss that archive function. (Reply to this) (Parent)
