Pimp Yo Ride
If you've ever tried to setup a massive Harry Potter game, you know how dreadful~ it is to come up with names for shops, newspapers, radio shows, schools, houses, organizations, occupations, spells, creatures, songs, etc. that aren't already in the universe. Therefore, here is a post for the creative types to show off their awesomeness and share things that they've come up with for their games. If you see something in here and want to run wild with it, PLEASE remember to credit rp_tutorials or the source of the information. No one likes a map thief, okay. I'll get us started with a few that I can recall off the top of my head...

Magazines/Tabloids
• The Tattler: akin to The Daily Mail or even US Weekly, a straight up gossip rag
• Quiddtich Quarterly: akin to Sports Illustrated or ESPN magazine
• SNITCH: akin to Cosmo or GQ

• Eureka! - potion shop

• Potent Pucey Potions - potion brewery headed up by Adrian Pucey's family
• W.E.R.F.: Wizarding Equal Rights Foundation - akin to a mix of PETA and the ACLU
• S.A.M.E.: Society for Active Magic Exchange - akin to Church of Scientology

Schools/Houses
• Durmstrang Houses: Valkyrie, Minotaurus
• Beauxbatons Houses: Sirona

Bands
• For the Love of Zeus (Zeus for short)

I've got two culture pages to offer up, one for Marauders and one for Next-Gen (some of the information is the same, but some has been changed to account for the period). They have Quidditch players, seven WWN stations, and eight bands, along with pictures of the bands, member names, and a few of their hit songs. Anybody can feel free to use them! (I stole the code for the band table from here, but I'll be happy to provide all my codes if anybody's interested).
