Buddy lists and new improved AIM? Help!
Hello everyone!

So I purchased a new laptop because the Dell that I bought two years ago literally fell apart one major part at a time over the past year. In doing so, and because of battery issues with the Dell, I basically had to start fresh on this new computer.

This came down to my downloading AIM brand new from the website. I am so confused. I have been using AIM since I started role playing in around 2004 or 2005 and I cannot seem to find an option to import a buddy list, nor can I delete anyone from the old one that I used to use with the account.

Has anyone attacked this beast yet? Am I just having a major blonde moment? Is there a way of downloading an older version of AIM? At least so I can update my buddy lists.

New aim is the worst. I used <a href="http://www.oldapps.com/aim.php>this</a> to download an old version.

I've used this site before: http://www.oldversion.com/AOL-Instant-Messenger.html

I prefer Trillian. So happy to leave the actual AIM software behind.

I use Pidgin. I love it. File transfers don't always work, but I don't usually use that function anyway.
