forgive me if i missed it, but is there any sort of html mock-up for mail? preferably something for mac mail, but something to make it clickable would be amazing. is there anything like that? thank you!

I haven't seen an HTML template for Mac mail floating around, but I'd be more than happy to try and do one up for you if you'd like/still need it!

randomly jumping in but I've been searching for a e-mail template so I know I'd love to see something! (mac or not)

I'm on my mobile at present so forgive me if the formatting seems a bit wonky! I know I have seen an email inbox template on ~rp_tutorials (under the layouts: other tables) tag, but it's just like subject/date/sender. It sounds like we're aiming to include the messages themselves here?

Thank you! i actually started one last night ... it's taking forever and isn't exact, but it just might do when I'm done with it!

Oh, okay! I wasn't sure if you were still wanting it or not. Good luck! I know it can be super frustrating sometimes ):

I'm sure it will be lovely! All my best stuff seems to come from hours of frustration and then it clicks like magic. (I'm convinced that HTML/CSS is actually quite sentient and moves around by itself. I've had it mess up for hours and try to fix it, then walk away for a week, not touch it, and when I get back, it's flawless randomly.)

If you can get me the screen caps, then I can try my hand at it. Otherwise, if you don't mind an older Mac Mail service, then I can do it with what I've got.

everything i have just switched over to the damn icloud, so i don't mind an older mac service at all! otherwise i'll screencap what it looks like when i get home so i can blur out e-mail stuff when i do haha

That's fine, I totally understand. I can do the mail box, and if you'd like the message to load in a separate window like it sometimes does, then screen cap that as well!

That looks good so far! I'm terrible at recognizing fonts. I want to say that Mac uses Verdana on some of its (older) programs, but I think I'm way off.

thank you! i think tomorrow I'll be able to really dig into it -- if i can find out how to get the little icons and NOT have to have just screencapped/cropped them but i haven't found them yet -- i googled the font, and most people said helvetica but it still looks off so i'm going to try Verdana! i will just keep staring at my screen until i go blind, lol. if i get it all worked out, i'll post it here for sure -- also the top bar is just a photoshopped screencap from the website lol, just cheats.

Load one of the side icons in a program like PSP, or even Pixlr, then blow it up and select the background pixel that appears the most with the eyedropper. Use that color code for the tab, and it should blend in more.

Screencaps have saved me a few times. I think I'm going to upload a few of my older layouts. They were fun to use, so they shouldn't go to waste.
