I'm looking for html help and inspiration; fair warning :-) I'm not terribly html savvy so just tend to snag and modify.

I mod a time travel game and the range of ages played is quite large (toddler to 50s). I recently compiled a dates of birth list so we could keep track of who went to school with who and how old everyone is. The years range from 1951 to 1999, so your usual 5th year/6th year/7th year tables are not going to cut it. Some years have no people born in them, or only one, and others have as many as 9 (hello, Marauders). I don't know whether to split into houses or not as we're quite DE-focused so have a disproportionate number of Slytherins and then quite a lot of Gryffindors as well, with very few Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. The current, not-at-all-prettified brain-dump post is here. Part of me is thinking about making a series of little tables for each year of graduation, each two cells wide and not taking up the whole width of the page (maybe two little tables per width?), and then just colour-coding the text to indicate house. Another part of me is thinking about trying to do some kind of funky yearbook-esque picturey layout, but I have no idea where I'd even start with that.

Thoughts? Help? Anybody got anything just perfect that I could modify?

You could possibly try adjusting something like this graduation/house chart and maybe get rid of the houses.

Ooh, awesome, thanks. I'll have a go.
