[Other Layout] Family Tree - Text Only

Text-Only Family Tree
Icons and pictures are not required to build this tree unless you wish to give the sidebars on the table a background image. Replace IMG_URL with a URL to the image or pattern you wish to use. You may also change the color palette of the table. I find and create the patterns and color palettes I use on COLOURlovers.

The default palette for the tables is:
#A0A0A0 for sidebars and title
#C0C0C0 for middle column background
#808080 for genders and dates
#606060 for names
#F0F0F0 (white) for marriage hearts

Status Key:
b. YEAR = birth | d. YEAR = death | m. YEAR = wedded | s. YEAR = divorce

Symbol HTML:
♥ = ♥ | ♀ = ♀ | ♂ = ♂

I have provided two different versions of each code -- one for regular use, one for use with the Disable Auto-Formatting box checked. Personally, I prefer to use the disabled auto-formatting version. It allows the code to be spaced out and easier to navigate which means less chance error as I fill-in the tree information.

You can find live examples of these trees here.

PLEASE, CREDIT [info]rp_tutorials IF YOU USE ONE OF THESE TABLES.

I also have four visual family trees (i.e. trees with spaces for images) which I will be posting as I complete each of their tutorials. :D

I have a large family set up I want to do.

Basically the two head parents.

Then their kids, and some of those kids have kids, but things don't want to align up right. I'm still messing with the code, but if I by chance could get a little assistance that would be great, because I have no idea how I can set it up so it's listing the "heads of the family", their children and only under two of the 10 children, have kids of their own.
