I'm a dunce with renames and want someone to help me clarify before I go through with something.

Let's say...

I have username ~dx that has loads of content that I went to push onto another username temporarily 'til I rename that as planned. But I also want ~dx separate so I can sell this.

So... ~dx to the temporary ~abc123, to finally ~x (keeping all of the original content from ~dx), but I want ~dx separate to sell.

	i might be confused but i would just create a new account and then rename the new account to ~dx. you would then get ex_dx878 (or whatever number ij comes up with). the ex_account would have all of your old stuff while you would have ~dx as a fresh journal (Reply to this) (Thread)

	So just to clarify, I'd do the following: 1. Rename ~dx to ~abc123(or other generic username); this separates ~dx on itself and pushes all content onto an ex~dx878(or whatever number ij comes up with). 2. Rename ex_dx878 to insertusernamehere; this will contain all old contain from ~dx pushed to another username, and ~dx will still be separated. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	If you want the current ~dx to eventually have a difference username that's not of the form ex_dx123, and still have a separate journal be named ~dx so you can sell it, you'll need three accounts and three rename tokens. Which will cost you $45, and no one's going to spend $45 on a username. You'll make more money not bothering, to be honest. (Reply to this) (Thread)
