IJ Site Scheme
Not really sure this is the place to talk about this, but there are some pretty knowledgeable people here than me so here goes. I'm one of those people that is constantly being tugged back and forth between Chrome and Firefox. I like Chrome because it tends to run a tad more smoother on my system than Firefox does (and when FF likes to throw hissy fits I tend to go sit by Chrome until FF behaves again). The reason I haven't made the full move is due to LJlogger's handy refresh option when switching between accounts (Chrome's Juggler extension doesn't do that but I can learn to live with manually refreshing the page lol). However, the primary reason I haven't made the full move is, no matter what I tweak, Chrome's version of Greasemonkey and Stylish do not do what they're supposed to do in making IJ's site scheme look like it should using the scripts. I know it seems like a silly reason not to use a particular browser for, but I'm a visual learner so something has look visually appealing to me to keep my attention otherwise I'm likely to click away a lot faster than I normally would. I'm wondering if anyone else has this same problem as me and if you've discovered any tips or workarounds that helped you?

P.S. I wasn't really sure how to tag this post, so I just refrained from adding any. ^_^;

Are you using Chrome versions of the scripts or using TamperMonkey to use the FF scripts IN Chrome?

I'm not 100% on that? Hopefully my explanation will answer your question: When I installed TamperMonkey ages ago, I went to userscripts.org and clicked the install button there (it had the TamperMonkey and Chrome buttons/logos in/on the install button). However, I have copied and pasted from the Stylish script and made a new userscript in TamperMonkey and neither thing I've done seems to have worked.

--snorts-- I probably completely bungled the whole thing and didn't even know it. XD

From what I understand, Stylish and Chrome still don't always like to play nice with each other. I don't believe you need to be using TamperMonkey to use the FF extension since there is a Stylish FOR Chrome as a stand-alone.

I do understand how you feel. I too am a very visual person and I HAVE to have my scripts to make IJ clean enough that I don't want to gag when I open any of my journals.

In Chrome, neither extension works in terms of the site scheme. The other userscript I use for replacing the default icons for users and comms (LOL that sounded so very Tron! XD) does work. So ... I don't know what's going on. I'm at a loss and I'd just like the site scheme script to work. :
