it's not a dumb question! when you make your webs.com account, on the page you're directed to right after you name your domain, instead of choosing one of their SiteDesigner templates, look toward the upper left side of the page for the HTML-only account link. then, when you click edit, instead of the typical SiteBuilder you get on webs, you get a box much like the custom CSS box here on ij where you can enter your codes.
