First, I have to say I really like your background. Which is saying something considering how I usually hate tiled backgrounds. But anyway, on to the colors.

I really, really the pale grey text and border you have going on, and all in all it's not a bad color scheme. However, the white needs to change. It's not bad in small doses, but if you're expecting large chunks of text, it will tire the eye out quickly, especially on such bright colors.

Right now, the background image is the central focus. You want to try to compliment it with your colors. Take a look at what I did and tell me what you think:
