So, I'm working on an original game that I hope to open early next month. This is my first time working with an original game; I've only been involved with fandom games before, but the idea for this one just won't let me go.

I'm curious. Are there any differences between recruiting for original games and for fandom games that I should know about? I ask because with fandoms, I'm usually drawn in by the promise of playing my favorite character, but clearly that won't be the case here.
