As for the other...I knew I didn't have enough on my own journal to cause it to need the previous/next link, but I was looking at my friends page and it wasn't working even though I'm friends with a mod journal, two comms, and a bunch of character journals.
What I did not take into account, until I just now tried going back to the "previous 5" as far as I could go...was that maybe the other entries in the mod journal and comms were old enough that they dropped off the regular friends list like sometimes happens. Did not even occur to me at all. So thank you, I appreciate that :) You made it 'click' so to speak.
