I HAVE A QUESTION!

So I moderate a comm here and right now we're in the final stages of tweaking the hell out of our layouts. (Original layout code can be found here). The new layout we're using is an S1 Generator layout, and for all our very limited coding skills, my co-mod and I cannot for both our lives figure out how to get rid of the bottom navigation (where it says 'viewing most recent entries' and 'go back')- so that you can't go back to the next page of entries and see all the posts that we have linked to the navigation table at the top.

Are we just messing with code in vain, or is there an actual way to do this? We got it to work when we had an S2 layout installed, but now that we're in S1 we're kind of stumped.

Probably not. Generator is pretty limited in terms of customization. Essentially anything you do to that footer is going to affect the header in some way as well, because they use the same CSS classes (where they use them at all).

You could try td.meta {display:none;}, since the parts of the header that use that class appear to be hidden anyway, but that would only get rid of the links, not the whole footer box.
