Question: What is the purpose of a custom in a game? I'm not talking about an OOC custom between CDJs or anything, but one that is used IC for two characters in a game.

Is it used for scening, random IC chatter (in place of IMing?), random OOC chatter... all, a combination, or none of the above?

	I use my customs for IC chatter, for private emails/comments. Like when someone says "IMs or Customs" its usually like a private spam post? but you can use the custom filters for threads and stuff too. (Reply to this)

	i love using customs instead of iming because i can't always get on aim, but i can always answer comments on my phone. it's convenient especially with time zone differences. i generally keep it to ic chatting with occasionally ooc talk. (Reply to this)

	I'd also like to point out (because I didn't know this for the longest time) that "custom" means making a Friends Filter for one particular character(s) and then making a post custom locked to that character(s). :) (Reply to this)
