Are you struggling to name the childhood home for your British Character?

Do you have a wealthy pureblood Harry Potter Character and you don't want them to be as uncreative as the Malfoys and have them live in Lastname Manor? Do you think the lower classes have all the fun with their Shell Cottage and Burrow?

Britain has a very rich history of home naming. Your character's childhood home, if large, doesn't have to be a manor! It could be a hall, lodge, house or even a castle! Perhaps just a cottage if you're feeling intimate.

Project Britain has a great site on naming homes including the top 50 names. Check it out and don't be a boring home namer anymore!

No problem.

After getting the seventh or eighth app with "Lastname Manor" it was either write a vent or a tutorials post. I decided on the constructive approach.
