Liam's eyes widened ever so slightly at Oliver's question. Shit. He really hadn't considered that. It shouldn't. Couldn't. But then he'd thought the same about a murder happening here.
The idea of the murder affecting their jobs in the everyday fashion, with something like schedule changes or security measures or the like, barely even crossed Liam's mind, whether it had been intended or not, and he was straight on to having a minor (very very quiet) panic about the possibility of losing his job.
He tried an affectation of nonchalance, grasping onto the idea of it affecting the everyday aspects of the job (because that was considerably less panic-worthy) and thought himself mildly successful as he said, "Unlikely. It's terrible, of course, but we do have to keep everything up as normal, I expect. Would probably reflect badly on the hotel otherwise."
