Annnnnd, I'm skipping to when they go to dinner nao! :D
As soon as they had departed, Les had gone out to one of the small towns and looked through their shops for anything to change into. She was...well, she was actually very excited to have dinner with Cade tonight. Usually, that didn't happen. Least, not with someone she felt this buzz of excitement and heat with. As she shopped, she called up Don and told him she wouldn't be around to help set up but she'd at least make it out for a little while. He asked why of course and she told him but she was at an age now that he couldn't persuade her to give up the name of the guy or even where. She knew they were only trying to look out but eventually, there came an age where that didn't always apply any longer. Now, if he did turn out to be a asshole, then all bets were off the table. Still, he didn't appear to be a mass murdering psychopath.
She was glad she had decided to stick around - she had gotten some sketching done and ideas jotted down after spending a couple of hours shopping and looking at the antique stores. Les arrived at the restaurant in a sundress and sandles (she was just as surprised as anyone else at that)just a minute or two before they decided to meet.
