Re: Ocean's: Ash & Sam
"We talk on the journals sometimes," she said of Neil, which was maybe understating, but not lying. Whatever. She'd quit that shit anyway, and she plucked that bite of syrupy waffle off Ash's fork with ease, fingers getting all sticky before she popped the waffle piece into her mouth. It was good, but she still liked the fry better, and she dipped another one in syrup before sitting back and nursing the soda again.
"Family's important, yeah?" She said it obvious, and she thought a kid would be good for Neil and Lou to be around. You couldn't be too serious around a kid, and Casey had inherited all the fucking lighthearted in the Donovan family as far as she could tell. Hopefully Lou would be out soon, and then he could go back to Marvel and be normal for the first time in over a year. "Yeah. I like him." She smiled.
She couldn't blame Ash for her opinion on guys, yeah? One died, and the other turned out to be a fucking psycho. Yeah, no, she so got that. Instead of commenting, she smiled at the photo on the awakened phone. "He's adorable, baby."
