Re: Ocean's: Ash & Sam
"Depends on how you move, I guess. Bus pass makes it easier. I'm thinking about getting a bike again, though I can't imagine doing that with Matthew on my hip." And she was fairly sure the authorities wouldn't be smiling on that either.
It always felt a little strange watching people look at pictures, and even though Ash was over the moon in love with her boy, she knew what some people thought about when they saw him. They knew who the father was, knew everything that had happened back then, and even though Ash didn't like to think on it much, she was well aware of it all. "That's kind of what I'm hoping. God knows I've had enough adventure in this place already. I'm looking forward to quiet. Simple." The waitress came back then, paper pad in hand, to take their orders. Waffle for Ash, lots of butter, and the waitress waited until Sam made her order before shuffling off to get their food together.
"So. Where in this town are you staying?" Another drink of coffee, the beverage gone cold by this time, causing a wrinkle of her nose in response.
