Re: log: Tony's Super Secret Facility
Even if Bruce thought that Tony might be right about his opinions on Barnes' ability to care for himself, he wasn't going to say so while he was still within arms' reach of the man. He didn't have any real fear for himself being injured, but the other guy showing up would be... inconvenient, at the very least.
"Friends often are," Bruce murmured, another flicker of a glance over at Tony that was barely anything. If there was anything strange about Barnes giving such an opinion about someone, he either didn't notice or didn't comment on it. "But sometimes they're good to have around anyway."
He finally stood while Tony continued to talk, gathering up the medical supplies and the bits of metal he'd dug out of the already-healing thigh muscle. He didn't move fast, but he moved steadily - no jerks of movement or angles toward the man still sitting on the bed. He didn't know the bigger plan for Barnes, and he didn't know how much of his opinion was wanted within that plan. There was a trash bin off to the side, and in lieu of a medical waste bin, he headed for it with his gory treasure, leaving his back open to the two other men. He missed the next thing Barnes said, only turning when Tony's laughter ran through the space.
