Hotel -> Lost: Jules & Kitane
[Even though it was blue faded to teal, it was still teal. Teal! Her little tiny hamster running on the wheel screamed. T-E-A-L! And that's when she realized, in one picture perfect moment of clarity that went from the faded teal to the ~s~e~q~u~i~n~s and the glitter that she'd met her soul mate. Her lady mate.
About the same time that her little brain hamster was realizing this, her butt was rocking back down to the ground, her toes lifting up, all weight on her heels and then propelling her forward like a little Kitane shaped rocket of joy. All five feet, two inches of her. Bags forgotten, clumsiness unnoticed as she flung her arms wide like nets and closed in around Jules shoulders.] HI! [Loud, loud, definitely not an inside voice. Fuck inside voices anyway, she never understood why she had to be quieter, she wasn't a mouse.
And if she almost knocked the other woman off balance between the bags and her sudden addition of weight, she didn't seem to notice, just put her hands on her shoulders and yanked her right back into position.
This had obviously happened before.
Possibly frequently before.]
Vivid! Oh my god, I love your hair! [Cue touching the faded color of it.] And the sequins! And oh my god, those boots! I wanted to pack my heels but they were only going to get stuck in the sand, so I packed these flipper floppers, you have to see them, they're sweet with jewels.
And no, no cabana boy, not yet. I have to use him to make Aubrey jealous, because Aubrey is being a mean pot. He needs to drink less. [A little moue there, but she kept rolling on.] No, I brought clothes. Lots of clothes. Lets go to the beach! Party! [One hand grabbed hold of Jules', no permission sought, her other hand grabbed hold of the lever of her suit case and yank. For someone so little, she certainly moved like she was diesel powered.]
