Re: Louis' apartment: Iris, Sam, Cris
[Iris let TJ open his eyes again once they were through the door and into the hotel hallway, and they went wide and a little scared when he did. Hauling the bags along meant she didn't have a free hand, but she stopped them for a moment (ignoring Sam for the moment, even though she saw her there out of the corner of her eye), kneeling down next to the boy and smoothing his hair back to the side. She gave him a smile and squeezed his hand.] We're being brave? [It was a question, a prompt they'd gone through before, and it had the lilt of repetition. He nodded in return and shifted his backpack.
Only then did Iris shift her attention away from him, still kneeling to be on his level as she looked up at Sam. Who looked better than she had when Iris had visited her in Neil's penthouse. There was a quiet moment of looking, and then Iris offered Sam a small smile and a nod.] Sweetie, this is Sam. She's my sister. [The boy looked between the two of them, and then whispering "Like Jemma and April?" Iris smiled at the mention of the new baby sister of one of his friends from school, and nodded.] Exactly like Jemma and April. [Her attention shifted again.] Sam, this is TJ.
[Cris' appearance cut off any further introduction, and Iris went as quiet as the boy as she looked at the man she'd only written to over the journals and spoken to on the phone. His voice provided the confirmation of his identity even before he moved forward and squatted down to introduce himself (leaving Sam the tallest one in the hallway). TJ looked at Cris and then over at Iris after the introduction, leaving Cris' hand extended without reciprocation at first. Like he was waiting for something. But she just nodded.] It's okay. They don't need to have a word. I said it's alright. [The boy relaxed a little then, sending a smile over at Sam and stepping forward to shake Cris' hand as well as he could. Accompanied by his introduction of "Hi, I'm TJ."]
