Re: [spidey kids in silent hill]
[As long as he didn't stop to think, he'd be fine. Don't stare, don't dwell, just follow a series of steps and Peter knew he could keep his cool. He focused on what he was doing, aware that Gwen was assembling a tourniquet on her side too; there was nothing they could do about the blood Flash had already lost, all they could do was try to keep him from losing any more. He glanced over, briefly, when Flash laughed, not understanding why. In his mind, he could see that Flash wasn't okay. It was right in front of his face. But Gwen? She could be hurt and she'd still put Flash first, he knew that, and he couldn't tell if any of that blood was hers right off the bat. It didn't mean he was any less worried about the boy bleeding out in the hallway.
But she didn't answer, and he didn't push. He glanced at MJ when she crawled over to Flash's side to take his hand, and he didn't understand what he meant, what Gwen meant, about it being just like the comics. Somehow, Peter doubted it was anything good.] She's right. You're gonna be fine, Flash. [He tried for a smile, but it wasn't steady.
Luckily, he didn't have time to slide into panic. Gwen was talking about getting him to Marvel, lifting him, and he nodded. Peter would've done it himself, he didn't care about keeping his stupid secret identity a secret when Flash's life was at stake, but she was already sliding her arms under his shoulders and he wasn't going to waste time arguing; he just slid his arms under Flash's legs, above the knee, careful not to aggravate his injuries.] On three. [He counted quick, and he lifted without even a flicker of difficulty.]
