Re: [spidey kids in silent hill]
[Trying to find the door to Silent Hill was almost literally like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Peter didn't know what floor it was on, which hallway, or even when it would appear; he wasn't patient enough to wait. He just kept looking, door after door after door and doubling back again to be sure. All he could think was that he should've pushed to tag along with Gwen. He shouldn't have told her about MJ, maybe then she'd have told him where to find the door. He'd messed up bad in more ways than one. While he was looking, Gwen and Flash could be getting attacked by monsters. Or maybe they were already dead. How would he know either way? What if they never got out? What if they were stuck there forever?
He tried to tell himself that none of those things would happen. That it'd be okay. He'd find the door, somehow, and Gwen and Flash, they'd be fine.
At least when MJ showed up there was an extra person, giving them twice as much of a chance at finding the right door. Peter didn't say much; he was too worried for wisecracks and every second counted. Just then, from one floor up, he heard the sound of a door slamming-- maybe it was nothing, but maybe... He looked at MJ, then ran for the stairs. Up, around the corner, and he skidded to a horrified stop when he saw Gwen and Flash in the hallway. There was a lot of blood, too much blood, and Flash-- he didn't look good, but what if Gwen was hurt too? Just then, all the brewing issues between them stopped mattering. Gwen could be mad at him later, right then the priority was making sure no one bled out in the hallway.]
Here. [He closed the last few feet between them and dropped to his knees beside Flash, sliding his backpack off his shoulder. He didn't think he needed to ask what'd happened. With fingers that only shook a little, Peter undid the zipper and pulled out the first aid kit he'd hastily stuffed inside. Gwen was already tearing her hoodie apart, but he figured bandages would help.] Are you okay? Are you hurt? [He didn't pause while he spoke, didn't stop, ripping open bandages to help stop the bleeding.]
