Re: marvel - steph/selina.
[The walk to The Gilroy was short, and Selina didn't bother with a cab. Marvel's New York, unlike Gotham, was a place for walking, and you didn't see a lot of cars racing by. It was cold out, but not uncomfortable, and she wasn't very good at staying put.
She chuckled at Steph's description of the building, the area, and she lifted a graceful shoulder.] I'd robbed every jewelry store within ten miles when I purchased it. Bruce had given my penthouse away, and I think I was making a point. Not that he knows that; he's never been here. [He was one of the few in Gotham that hadn't used the penthouse in Marvel for one thing or another, but she didn't seem bothered by it. Bruce? Bruce abhorred Marvel.]
The clinics went by the wayside. The mob war became front and center, and I think they'll start pouring money back into the community once they reestablish assets. Buying out all the little Families? It took a lot of cash. [It was true enough, but Selina was surprised to hear that the little blonde bat had to ask the head of funding for help with her little improvement project. But, then, Selina had no idea what was happening at Wayne these days.] We missed you, kitten. Gotham missed you. You did a lot of good there.
