	Someone slammed Yelp with favorable reviews, and I haven't been finishing up until midnight most nights. Corvus still isn't back, so I'm short his hands, and I still have Gus and Delia. Sure. Midnight and babies do not go so well together. What time do you want me? And if you need respite from extended babysitting, you just drop them off. What happened to McKendrick, did the manchild do something for Valentine's, or is the hotel's shitty way of saying 'love you, all of you' the only Valentine you've gotten?

	How long do we think it's going to take for his sanity to come back? McKendrick is an overgrown child. But you've always had responsibilities. You need to take time out to get laid, and if my taking the kids off your hands for a little while helps, you just leave them with me. I'll come straight from the school-run. He's doing better. I'm hoping we can have him doing the heavy lifting again by next week. I gave him the extra space upstairs, so he'll be around for whatever we need once he's home. He's great with the kids, so it'll be a help.

Kid, I'm not on a dry spell. Whatever happens with McKendrick happens. We're casual, and it's good that way.

Thanks. Running a register with a baby crying all hours isn't the best thing for business.

	Great with kids how far? Just so I know whether to put my nosy, asks-inappropriate-questions kid on a leash or not. A baby crying all hours is misery for everyone involved, including the baby. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He lived with me and Amanda when she was a baby. He's good with her, and Gus thinks of him as an uncle. That kid's quiet, but when Corvus comes around he'll throw himself on him. He's great with kids. If Helen hadn't passed away, he'd probably have a few of his own by now.

She's used to attention, which is hard. I have her near the register during the days now, and that's better. The customers coo at her, and that seems to do the trick.

I never knew him all that well. But if he's like that with Amanda and Gus, he sounds like a good guy. And like he can handle Elizabeth just fine.

Getting babies used to not being watched over every second takes time. They fuss something awful, because it's new. When Elizabeth was small, right after I went back to Mom's, it took a long time to get her used to being far off, or away or something. But long run, it's better.
