Re: Penthouse: Iris / Sam
[The shaking worried her, of course it did, but she'd seen how emotions could set off shivering that was hard to stop. She glanced around and grabbed a throw blanket from the foot of the bed, wrapping it around Sam's shoulders before sitting near her again. She made another note about Russ, but then the notebook got tucked away again as she turned more of her attention to Sam. And, apparently, Cris. Her own interaction with him since returning hadn't been positive, but for Sam to say he'd fix everything... it made her expression open up into mild curiosity.] Would he?
[Louis was staying with... who? The words didn't make sense to her, and she just stared at Sam with a confused look on her face. She hadn't slept with anyone since Ra's - as Gray. And the last person before that was Ian. She really hoped that neither of those were the person that had Louis, and the thought of it made her pulse kick up. She hadn't had to worry about anything like that for years, and it stole her breath for a moment.] Who? [It came out soft and shaking, the way her voice so often used to be, but wasn't usually any more. She took a breath, forced another, and her next try was at least a little stronger.] Who?
[The appearance of the nurse drew a sigh from Iris that was almost annoyed, and that earned her own under-breath words about shaking isn't the same as seizing. She didn't interfere with the medication though, because she recognized that she didn't know Sam's health history. It didn't stop her from sending the worried glare toward the other woman. A glare that lasted until she left the room again, and then Iris was reaching out, hesitation all over her, to smooth Sam's hair back from her face.] Seizures? [The question was soft, for Sam and not her nurse.]
