Re: Penthouse: Iris / Sam
[Iris had lived in the penthouse of Wayne Towers once, years ago to her now, and she'd been able to accept the opulence then, even if she maintained that she wasn't worth it. That was a long time ago for her now, and she was less used to that sort of life than she'd once been. It didn't stop her from looking around as she entered, from letting the nurse look her over and give approval to the hovering guards. The guards made her nervous, reminded her of time spent with Ra's, and she did her best not to look at them as she finally crossed the room toward Sam.
The black hair was unexpected, the blood on her sleeves was worrying, and she didn't like to see the slow blink of sedation from her sister. But she wound her way past the furniture and ended up perching on the very edge of the piano bench next to Sam. It was obvious that Joey's death hadn't sunk in for her yet, more worried about the girl in the penthouse. And maybe she should have been concerned that the last time she visited Sam she ended up with a broken nose and beaten face, but that was far enough in the past for her that this now took precedence.]
