Re: [quicklog: micah c, neil d, cris m, louis d]
[Neil knew, in that moment, that Micah wasn't going to lead Louis to Joey's body. He'd probably never had any intention of taking him to the body. He was focusing on Louis because Joey was his brother, not related to the other two. He was focusing on the one for whom it was personal. One last sick, twisted game, but Neil wasn't going to let it happen. No, he wasn't handing over the gun. He wasn't putting Louis through any more of this. It was bad enough that he had to deal with being controlled by a cult-- he didn't need this, too.
Of the three of them, it just made sense that he do it. Neil could live with himself. He hadn't been there for Louis before, but he was here now.]
No. [He shook his head.] He won't take you to the body, Louis. You know that. [He glared down at Micah. The safety of the gun was clicked off, and he moved in front of Micah; he wasn't going to shoot him from behind. No, he wanted to look at him when he killed him. Unlike him, Neil wasn't a coward. Not when it came to this-- he could face his actions. He could take responsibility for them.] You're wasting our time, but you can't delay the inevitable. This ends now. [He raised the gun, aimed at his forehead.] Get out of the way, Cris.
